In the family since 1964

  1. Before

Pop’s Cafe is a landmark for travelers on old Highway 99E. Pop Uken breeds race horses and spins racing yarns at the end of the counter.

  2. 1964

Harold and Dolores Heuvel buy Pop’s Cafe, keep Pop’s name, and call it Pop’s Branding Iron.

  3. 1966

The log cabin goes up on the same spot: seating for 100, a banquet room and the saloon.

  4. Today

Debbie McTimmonds and Susan Holman keep it a come-as-you-are family restaurant, giant omelettes and all.

“If you want a BIG meal, home-cooked, at an affordable price, head to Pop’s Branding Iron.”
